- Cycles: unlimited for solar self-consumption, time-based control and backup. Any other use is capped at 37.8 MWh of total throughput.
Keep it online
Tesla needs to push firmware updates to honor the full ten years. If the Powerwall is offline for an extended period or is not registered, Tesla says it may not honor the full term, but will always honor at least four years from installation. Translation: keep the Wi-Fi password current.
